New Year, New Me

As the year comes to a close, individuals and businesses alike are entering a reflective state, taking inventory of their successes and growth, of the joys and challenges experienced in 2021.

As I have shared with you before, in our previous blog posts (such as When Overconsumption Overpowers Gratitude and Conglomerates & Discounts,) I am here to bring a marketer’s perspective to intentional shopping and highlight the use of genius marketing, so that YOU can decide how marketers speak to you and impact your purchasing habits.

The new year brings with it strategic use of the “new year, new me” vibes. Gyms make a lot of their money in the beginning of the calendar year because their marketing tactics to bring in new customers that have fitness goals as a new year’s resolutions work seamlessly. Even if most new year recruits will be no-shows before January is over, the gyms made their money. Now, let’s be clear. I am all for everybody to get a little more active in the pursuit of a long, healthy life, and any day of the year is a good time to start!

Take for another example, the residential real estate market. The beginning of the year is the best time to purchase a home due to optimal tax conditions for the bulk of the calendar year (for those who are able to purchase a home sensibly, of course.)

What will the new year bring in marketing and in what your audience actually needs, wants and purchases?

Due to the amalgamation of social media trends, fashion trends, societal trends and your specific offerings and branding, you will have to constantly adapt and rise to the occasion. Contact Heritage Writing Co. for a social media strategy that delivers in the new year and beyond. Happy New Year!
